# dew

> dew is the intelligence and trust layer for the home. The product an agent or robot calls is dew-relay: a signed request path (kind 50000), a policy engine, and a LAN executor. Not dewOS. Not a robot. Not a cloud hub.

Agents and robots do not command devices. They ask. Identity comes from the signature, never the payload. Device facts come from the house projection, never the requester. Deny beats ask beats allow. The executor is the only process that touches a device.

There is no public MCP server and no cloud API. The house is a relay you own. If you cannot sign a kind 50000, you cannot ask.
